1. General Conditions

Welcome to swapit.be . . By accessing or using our Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making any transactions.

2. Object Condition

All items offered on our Website are in new condition unless stated otherwise. We ensure that each item is packaged with the utmost care, utilizing bubble wrap and all necessary protective materials to prevent any damage during transportation.

3. Customer Inquiries

We encourage you to ask any questions you may have about our products. Our customer service team is available to assist you in English, French, or Dutch.

4. Payment Terms

Payment can be made via direct bank transfer to our designated bank account. All payments must be received and cleared before the dispatch of your order.

5. Shipping and Delivery

  • Dispatch Time: Orders are dispatched via UPS within one working day upon receipt of cleared payment (Monday to Friday).

  • Shipping Options:

    • Standard Shipping: For small-sized packages, a shipping fee of €5 applies. Please note that this option does not include tracking and may take longer to arrive.

  • Liability: In the unlikely event that your item is lost or damaged during transit, we accept full responsibility and will issue either a refund or a replacement. Please notify us within 48 hours of receiving the package if any issues arise.

6. Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you are entitled to a full refund, provided that the item is returned to us within 14 days of receipt and is in its original condition.

7. Guarantee

For items shipped within the European Union, you are entitled to a minimum one-year legal guarantee in accordance with EU consumer protection laws.

8. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Belgian courts.

9. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Website.

    When the goods are in our hands, we will send you a summary on a one-time, a
    monthly or a quarterly basis.
